Bee report

Bees

The Latin name for bees is Apis.  Bees are insects.

Description

Bees are stripy because people will get scared of them.  Bees are hairy but when you touch them you don't feel the hair.  Bees are fat but some are not.  Bees tongues are called proboscis.

Habitat

Bees live in places called hives.  People keep bees so they can get the honey.

Dynamics

Bees dance to communicate.  Bees will fly 5 metres from their hive.

Don't kill bees because they make honey.
